New Delivery Policy
Please be advised of our new delivery policy for your orders.
The Incoterms that will be used are as follows and in accordance with what is coordinated with each trade partner:
- FCA: Incoterm that requires AMEREX to deliver your orders to your warehouse, or other specified location, and once our driver delivers the goods, the trade partner assumes responsibility for their order. This responsibility includes, but is not limited to, unloading, and storing merchandise, providing proof of export (BOL/Waybill) as required by US Laws. If proof of export/tax exempt certificate is not provided trade partner will be responsible for the sales tax of all the purchases.
- EXW: Incoterm that requires the customer to coordinate the pick-up at the AMEREX warehouse and from that moment on, the trade partner takes responsibility for their order. If proof of export/tax exempt certificate is not provided the trade partner will be responsible for the sales tax of all the purchases.
- CIF: Incoterm in which AMEREX will be responsible for the delivery of the order until it reaches the port of destination. (Only applies to customers in Puerto Rico.)
To better serve our customers by making FCA deliveries faster and more efficient, starting today, AMEREX will begin implementing a new policy where once an order is placed it cannot be processed without the following information:
Complete contact information for your delivery location within the US:
- Name of Company, Contact Person, Full Address, Telephone number and Hours of Operation to coordinate the delivery and ensure that someone is available to accept the delivery.
